General Reminders

• If you are unsure about HOW to use a tool - please ask, read the manual, check for our tip sheets, watch a video or all of the above.
• Please put tools back where they belong, make sure they are clean, dry and usable.
• Report broken and missing tools and parts - Inform a steward or instructor and leave a note with any broken tool that includes your name, date, and problem.
• Many of our tools are considered GREEN, some are YELLOW and others RED. So feel free to explore, but respect the sign-off and color coded age restrictions on our tools.
• We do have a few tools that require sign-offs. Various CNC (computer numerically controlled) tools like the Silhouettes and Embroidery machines require special software to use them in addition to a sign-off.
