Slack workspace is the organization's primary online communication and collaboration tool. If this was a farm, this would be our best workhorse. Check in to #announcements, #members, and #volunteers at a minimum so you can keep up and stay involved. Find other channels that interest you.
With the plugins to GitHub, emails, Google Driver, your calendar, Trello, our Helpdesk, Polling, Integromat, and many other apps, it is easy to see why our workspace is so heavily used and active.

Slack Policy and Guidance
- Admin and Ownership in Slack are restricted to as few as possible to prevent chaos
- Slack Full Name field must match the full name on your Nova Labs Wild Apricot portal member profile.
- Your Slack email address must also match the email on your Wild Apricot portal account.
- All members are offboarded when they resign from their membership by default
- Key members are offboarded by default unless they request Alumni status. Alumni names are marked so that they are not removed accidentally during our periodic member database reconciliation. (Inactive alumni with years of dormancy may be offboarded during reconciliations).
- Green Orientation is required for full Slack access
- Key Members may request guests be added with access only to one or more channels, not including Key or Member private channels. (Send email and name to membership@ or ask a Slack admin). Other high-impact members of the community can request Alumni status on a case-by-case basis.
- Single and Multichannel guests must be set to expire within 90 days
