Step 1: Fill out the Member Application. Use your personal email since your previous domain account is suspended or deleted. Pay the application fee and allow the recurring payment
Step 2: Three emails will be sent within 48 hours. An initial email, a README email, and a domain account email. Follow the directions in ALL emails very carefully.
Step 3: Attend the GO class (Required only for returning members after a 12-month absence)
Step 4. Using your current fob is preferred. We have it on file so no need to email us the number. If you lost your old fob, then you’ll need to go get a new one at the front desk.
Step 5. If you were a Key Member and wish to be reactivated at that level, email [email protected] to let us know. A new nomination is not required.
Step 6. Before we activate your fob, you must pay for the current month. This is never prorated because membership is monthly, not daily. If you do not pay the invoice within the due date on the invoice, the application is canceled and the fee is not reimbursed.
The member application fee is $25 for new and returning members. There is a lot of time and effort by several volunteer teams to onboard/offboard members. Since the first dues payment is on the following first of the month. The membership application period allows the volunteers and staff time to onboard her into the systems.

Nova Labs is a very dynamic makerspace. Lots can change in a very, very short period at or small manufacturing plant. Your lack of knowing these changes could put your or others’ safety at risk. We need you to know the new rules. So ALL returning members must have a GO refresh.
GO sign-off needs to be refreshed which is true for everyone. Please do not ask for exceptions. GO is free, it is twice a month and is only 1 hour. You may attend any scheduled class and you do NOT have to register. Just be sure you are on the class attendee list.
Yes, your tool sign-offs will still be valid. For the more complex and dangerous tools, however, However, if you have been gone for more than 12 months, there may be a refresher required for the more complex or dangerous tools. This requirement is tool- and shop-specific so you must contact the [email protected] so we can give the latest requirements based on your sign-off profile.
