Curriculum:

• Eye protection is necessary - splashes of -350F liquid can blind.
• Hand protection is necessary - inadvertent immersion in the cryogenic liquid can cause frostbite.
• Use and store in a well-ventilated area - liquid nitrogen (for example) can displace oxygen in the air as it boils off, causing dizziness or asphyxia.
• Liquid Nitrogen can be purchased at Roberts Oxygen for about $5/liter; the ewer holds 6 liters.
